Deathly / Performance

What did you do to me,

So that I loved you so deeply,

I danced in my own blood for you?

What did you do and how,

So that the few days you spent in my life

Turned my skin upside down and pulled it out my mouth?

What have you done

And how could you

Grin from above as I bursted into myself,

So that my shattering didn't even touch the rest of the world,

And what did you think of me,

When I danced for you with blood running from my mouth and eyes

And the pieces of my past rattling against my skin from the inside

Like hidden bottles of alcoholic tears in a tote bag?

What did you do with me

After her

And the question is digging it's nails inside my heart:

What have you done to her

After me ?

What did you do to me,

Or is it me who did?

What did you feel for me

When it wasn't me you kissed,

But a corpse?

What have you done to me

In a glimpse of satisfactory seconds

Shorter than the last hours  of

Wilting in your beautiful bloody hands?

About Me

I'm a passionate hobby writer and poet, usually finding comfort in German poetry rather than English texts. However sometimes I feel obliged to express myself in English. "Puddle of Ink" was my first attempt at sharing these thoughts. Now only because I've published a book, there is no reason to let this blog die, right ? :)  Feel free to skip through it and/or contact me here.
