Life

Life hits you

The day you understand,

You live to live

And for nothing else.

Life cuts you every day.

So you wake up

Everyday and

You live.

Life has no

Purpose.

You have to wake up

Everyday and

Wake up again.

You have to dry your tears

Just to get them dry.

Life hits you

The day you  understand.

So it's okay.

To be for nothing at all.

To breathe toxic

Life.

And it is all so beautiful

Becuse it never ends.

Life hits you

As hard as an earthquake

And tenthousand hearts break,

All you do is wait.

Life hits you,

Because when you're finally happy,

It's not because you reached a goal,

It's because you learned to live.

Existence hits you

It might

Cut.

Your veins and your hopes.

Existence hurts when

You unlearned all life;

But as you realize:

You live to live

For nothing else

You live so you can

Wake up every day.

Please.

You wake up and you

Cry or smile.

You wake up and you work and exhaust,

Regret, make mistakes, flirt

Maybe fall in love.

And over and over

Life hits you.

There is no escape,

Because afterlife is uglier

Than life itself.

Over and over

You live, love, laugh

And break.

It's funny:

You're forced to stand up.

About Me

I'm a passionate hobby writer and poet, usually finding comfort in German poetry rather than English texts. However sometimes I feel obliged to express myself in English. "Puddle of Ink" was my first attempt at sharing these thoughts. Now only because I've published a book, there is no reason to let this blog die, right ? :)  Feel free to skip through it and/or contact me here.
